100 Burpees for Time
7 April Peter woke up and decided to do a workout. A random workout. And using possibly one of his most hated movements the Burpee. 100 of them.
Yup. I know. insane right? Never in a lifetime would I have imagined Peter to do that many Burpees in one sitting, but he actually did and we are so proud of him.
“So I woke up this morning and for some unknown reason I decided to do 100 burpees for time 🤦♂️. Not one of my smartest ideas 🤣 Give it a go everyone, simple, basic and no equipment needed 💪”
Our members were shocked with the outcome and what happened next was just heart warming. Everyone jumped on the 100 Burpee Challenge and just had a go in their own home, yard, beach.
It is a simple thing to do, no equipment needed.

Doing something uncomfortable and out of your comfort zone is something that we should get used to. We do it quite regularly at the box and at the gym, with workouts that will take you to that cave, that space that you have to feel around for, where you lose consciousness for a while.
This is no different and is simpler than most of the workouts we have done. The inspiration it created was admirable.
The challenge ignited itself and everyone got in on it. This makes us super proud to see that inspiration does not have to come from the coaches, but also can come from amongst out members. It is our members that also inspire us to do the things that we do not normally do. And that is the beauty of our community.
If you are in isolation for COVID-19. It would be way worst than doing 100 burpees. Yeah. Doing 100 burpees will be no where near as crap as doing a 5-20min workout of just. Do it. Try it once, do it for 30 days at a time.
